第三話 - LJ vs VOX
I have an LJ account which I love to bits. But jul.livejournal.com was already taken so I had to settle for juljul9.livejournal.com. So when Pikachu gave me this invite, I immediately 'chop' jul.vox.com. But now that I have it, I am confused as to what I shoud do with it. I think quite a number of people who came from LJ is experiencing this. My friends are all at LJ, except for Pikachu, so if I post here, most of them would not be reading my entry.
I do love the ease of adding pictures, audio and also the editing of HTML of VOX. It's kinda to do that in LJ (unless of course you are using a client). It's so easy to make your post all so colourful in VOX!
But I also love LJ because of the customization we can do with the layout. For VOX, we can't seem to do that. Maybe there is a way. Just that not too many people are on VOX yet, so if more designers come here, maybe one day we'll have custom layouts!
On a seperate note, I made 2 new friends in VOX already cieux and Chantelle! All because of my first post which contains Japanese characters. (They are both learning Japanese or at least want to learn). Turns out that Chantelle loves Goong too and cieux is a korean (Goong is from Korea). So yay! I should spread Goong love on VOX too so more people will be watching/reading it. Haha.
VOX team! You think it's possible to cross post between LJ and VOX? hehehe
Comments
Cross posting would be nice. But, I'm really happy with Vox because it's fresh and new and so alive with so many interesting people (like you, heh). Also, I may not be Korean but I'm in Korea now and yet, most of my friends are Japanese (so weird~).
*nods* VOX is fun and because it's relatively new, people tends to be more interested in making new friends.. friendlier too.. those in LJ can get quite aloof > <
you are in korea? sigh. how i wish i can be there. i'm in singapore, where the weather has been terrible lately. it's so &*$#(* HOT!
i know! i wanted to customize my own layout too :( my friends are at lj too ^^;
it's weird, but even though i'm korean, i haven't been there. i can't go with my family because my parents are always working T.T
oh? so cieux who's korean is not in korea and chantelle who's not korean is in korea. doesn't matter, either of you has links to korea which i don't have (other than being fanatical about Goong) *sobs*
ahaha, but you have connections to the chinese language :) that in itself is amazing. this is so weird, we're jealous of each other, haha. ^^;
haha. i guess the grass is always greener at the other side.
:) chinese is an awesome language. they have these idioms which are just 4 characters long but have profound meaning. maybe after japanese, u can try chinese :)
yup, i'm planning to. but the pronounciations are really difficult, right? @_@
that's true. there are 4 intonation for each character (first, second, third and fourth sound) which is confusing at first.
i had a hell of a time learning the language at first but since i stayed in Singapore, i get a lot of opportunity to use it. so it gets easier. maybe you should consider going to china for a couple of months. :p
that would be awesome. x) i wish i could study abroad, but it's expensive. x_x lol. unless i got scholarships or something.
Jul.. XD I'm on LJ.... as rinslet. XDDD *smacks* what are you talking about I'm not onLJ? XDDDD
i think my sentence is confusing.. what i'm trying to say is that all of my friends ONLY have LJ, except for Pika (who has both LJ and VOX). Gah. I need to go for English lessons
