I like taiyaki. No, like is an understatement. Will-kill-for taiyaki is more like it. But not just any taiyaki. I love the one sold in Isetan (local japanese store) when they have a fair. The ones shaped like a fish and has japanese red bean in it. The japanese red beans have a different texture and taste that the local ones. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a store in Singapore which sells these taiyaki. They only have those round ones which smells terrible (egg smell to it). I think it got to do with the pancake mixture they used. Anyone in Singapore can tell me where I can get this taiyaki? Help! I'm craving for it. Don't tell me I have to fly to Japan to get it? *faints*

 

Tengoku no honya has a very interesting plot. Everyone has 100 years to live. So if you die before living for 100 years, you will be sent to Heaven to live out the remaining years. After which, you will be be reborn. There is a bookstore in heaven where the owner can travel freely between heaven and earth. Once in a while he brings a person who is not dead yet, up to heaven. Usually these people have some 'unfinished' business to settle.

Watched this with bf but he finds the movie too slow, so he stoppped watching halfway. I was very intrigued by the storyline so I went on to watch it by myself. I didn't regret it. Yuko Takeuchi is great in this movie. Her acting as dual-character is very good. As a quiet and shy pianist and as the vibrant and lively niece of the pianist. Two different character which she played very well. The storyline is as unbelievable as Il Mare or Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu (which Pikachu reviewed earlier) and so maybe that's why girls enjoy this movie more than guys. And did I mention that the piano pieces were wonderful? Too bad there is no OST for this soundtrack. But there is a DVD MV which I managed to locate after searching high and low for it. It's available under my videos link. So do watch it! :)

bitterkoekjes will soon start to throw her confettis all over VOX. Hurray! One more fruities is on VOX. Maybe we should have a FBGI community set up. Wait, is there community in VOX? *ponders*

Also, I am sharing a song from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE (which I am infatuated with right now). It's called Yume No Tsubasa. Actually it's after listening to this song that I decided to watch the series. Does anyone knows how much space is allocated to us in VOX? So many questions about VOX. You can get the songs from my audio list.

I have an LJ account which I love to bits. But jul.livejournal.com was already taken so I had to settle for juljul9.livejournal.com. So when Pikachu gave me this invite, I immediately 'chop' jul.vox.com. But now that I have it, I am confused as to what I shoud do with it. I think quite a number of people who came from LJ is experiencing this. My friends are all at LJ, except for Pikachu, so if I post here, most of them would not be reading my entry.

I do love the ease of adding pictures, audio and also the editing of HTML of VOX. It's kinda to do that in LJ (unless of course you are using a client). It's so easy to make your post all so colourful in VOX!

But I also love LJ because of the customization we can do with the layout. For VOX, we can't seem to do that. Maybe there is a way. Just that not too many people are on VOX yet, so if more designers come here, maybe one day we'll have custom layouts!

On a seperate note, I made 2 new friends in VOX already cieux and Chantelle! All because of my first post which contains Japanese characters. (They are both learning Japanese or at least want to learn). Turns out that Chantelle loves Goong too and cieux is a korean (Goong is from Korea). So yay! I should spread Goong love on VOX too so more people will be watching/reading it. Haha.

VOX team! You think it's possible to cross post between LJ and VOX? hehehe

Reading some Goong fanfics do bring back memories of the drama. It's been about 4 months since the drama finished airing in Korea. Now it's set to take Asia by storm. GTV (Taiwan) is currently airing the drama and newspaper report showed that ratings is steadily climbing up. Singapore will be showing it in Sep or Oct. Japan has also stared airing this drama. Wooo..

Those few months of Goong was pure madness. My fellow fruities can testify to that =p. My whole life revolved around Shin Goon and Chae Gyeung love story. Screaming madly (via IRC) when we see that Shin was the one who was patting the wet towel to Chae Gyeung face, cursing the producers and MBC for putting us on such a rollercoaster, holding our breath when they finally kissed and who can forget the cliff hanger they left us with. Still no news of S2 which is making me depressed. pika, shall we terrorise MBC again? FBGI unite!

I think that's about all I remember from my japanese class. Okay, maybe I remember more things but somehow those lines are the first to come to my mind whenever someone ask me to speak Japanese.

Thanks to Pika, I have now obtained a vox account. Now that I have it, I don't know what I want to do with it. Haha. Need a bit of time to orientate myself to this. I don't even know how much space I have here for pictures.
